It's Talk like a Pirate day.. which might have been a sign had i paid attention 9 farking years ago and realized what a scalawag (who knows or cares if it's spelled right) I really am or was hooking up with depending on the POV of who is speaking for I am sure that from the other end.. I'm the bad girl.. Oh well such is life..

I have to really focus on the GOOD.. truly.. i have a safe place to live, very little bills, a good job AND wonderful children who bring me joy on a daily basis. None of which i'd have had I stayed in teh same place I was in.. well my kids would still be wonderful..i probably just wouldn't notice cuz i was having to play wife-mommy.. which takes up 10x the amount of time to play mommy-mommy.

anyway expect a few rants today..

my day started off with a Bang.. Cox was out from 3am (when I got up) I called finally at 5am..after viewing an ad with a phone number.. and found out the last update at 3am -- all data centers down. Then I called again at 630am.. got a recorded "helper" and rebooted etc.. and wallah.. 25 minutes later.. here i am..

so lets hope this is my biggest blurp today.

Pondering for today: Why does every generation think they know so much more than the generations that were ahead of them.. and why do the generations that were ahead always thing the current one knows/does nothing? Is there not some mediation that says.. ok we agree that the "older" generation knows something.. and we the older generation conceeds that those behind us know something too?

Case in point: Recently in the news has been about 'fattening' up the runway models. That now they have to weigh at least 126lbs and have 18bmi. The other day one of the slimmer chicks at the swap meet stopped by to say hi and introduce her sister. This woman is the "marker" by which my partner's wife holds her standard.. lives in a 7 figure home, is in her mid 50's but is still well tanned, and put together etc.. her sister, a writer from NYC, was 'dowdy' comparatively but had she been there alone, she would have been just a normal woman. Redish brown pageboy, nice jeans, tweed jacket. My partner's wife remarked "What happened to Donna's sister" I said.. Perhaps she's the SMART one. at which she replies.. "i guess i am shallow" well i didn't repond..and she said..i'm not hearing a rebuttle.. i said whats to rebutt-- you ARE shallow-- she subscribes to The old saying you can never be too rich or too thin.

well I was standing behind a chick the other day in line and literally i belive my wrist was bigger than her arm. she was the skinniest person i've ever seen outside of visiting a few places in South Africa in the Transvaal. Now I'm not advocating that everyone have slamming curves like me.. :-) but truely what could possible be attractive about this stick.. ok unless of course you have a boy fetish.. and want pussy along with boys.

So while some days i hate my phat ass.. today is NOT that day..
