--Fox News and all the conspiracy theorists, old people and wack jobs who watch it.  Fox has found a niche in their news broadcasting.  Rather than just reporting the news, they editorialize.  Their niche audience is basically older white people who want to go back to a "kinder/gentler/segregated" time.  Well I was born in the 1950's..and not that I remember a whole lot about it.. I can tell you from reading historical documents and talking with people who did live then, it was not a kinder or gentler time.  And I have news for them.. we are never ever going back to those days.  Get the fuck over it and another thing "minorities" are not the root of your problems... you didn't get that job because you weren't the most qualified..your kid didn't get into the school because his/her grades sucked.  Quota systems went out years ago.. so stop blaming everyone for your issues.. for 20 years as a recruiter and in HR, never ONCE was there a discussion or a hiring practice where minorities got a preference and this was for HUGE companies such as GE and REI..plus DO Not use the words anti-war and anti-american in the same sentence. 

--There is a rumor that Israel wants to invade Iran.  This would be very bad.  very very bad.  I really don't think there is any truth to the rumor..i think if Israel wanted to "invade" any country it would be Lebannon but it seems that there are "rumors" that Israel might invade Iran.  Of course they were interviewing some middle east expert who mentioned the book of Revelations where the anti-christ (my thought is Cheney) rises up after Israel, backed by a power in the west (us) goes up against a power in the East.  Like who the fuck could make this shit up???

--My car.  I know everyone is tired of hearing me bitch about it but do nothing.  Well I did do something.  I went to a dealership on Monday with Dah to see what we could do.  Our thought is to trade in his car, which will be paid off in October for a Bigger car, which I'd use except on his days off.  But once we got there, figured out it wouldn't be practical.  So I talked with the saleman.  I had 2K for a down payment.. but told him I only had 1.  I wanted a car for about 12K which with interest would be around 18K and my payments about 370.00.  He showed me a few options.  I'm pretty easy.  don't care about color, don't care about specific style..my needs are simple..good gas milage, a good AC and something with a little space so I can haul shite.  Style/colors/extras aren't really that important. Of course my ideal car would be something with a sync but I can forgo that for low payments.  1st he told me that I'd need to put at least 1600.00 down which goes to my theory of whatever you say you have, they want you to have MORE.  especially since they (the salesment) get their commission from the top.  I've pretty much decided that I'm going to wait until late August when the 2009s come out and they have a glut of 2008 cars to get rid of.  This salesman was a rude bastard--Jeff from Planet Hyundai.  Then he told me I'd probably have to have a co-signer because I have No credit cards and no debt.  Well isnt' that the idea?? NO Debt??? I cut up all my credit cards when I moved to Vegas since my salary was cut by 90%.  and have never gone back.  I'm a cash kinda girl but I should be punished for that??? like WTF?? Anyway.. i'm going to hold off.. I really want a chrysler/dodge and/or a hybrid.

Spud and I got addicted to America's Got Talent last year..so we are happy it's back.  Preceeding it is a new version of celebrity family feud with Al Roker. He's no Dickie Dawson but he'll do..
Anyway last night it was the "Girls Next Door" vs. "Big Pussy et.al" for the first round.  One of the questions asked was what would be one thing found on "Hef's night stand" .. so Big Pussy's (if you watch Sopranos you'll know who) team wins the round and they guess all kinds of stuff. condoms (my 1st guess which was #2) .. but they lose it so the Girls Next Door aka Hef's women..get a chance to steal.. and their answer, which was #1.. was...

Viagra.  Threw Hef right under the bus.

The 2nd round was Dog the Bounty Hunter vs. Kathy Lee Gifford et.al.  I really wanted Dog's wife (who i think either lost a lot of weight or had her boobs reduced) to PUNCH Kathy Lee in the face.  Can she ever shut the fuck up?? and does she always have to center of attention.  Even when it wasn't her turn..she'd be running her mouth. 

I think it was a fix because they won.

I would really have loved seeing Dog vs Big Pussy but it was a no go. 

I'm still chuckling over Hef and Viagra.
